Barry Fairbrother (age 42) of Pagford Parish Council, died this Saturday night died in the parking lot of local Pagford Country Club. He was on his way to celebrate his anniversary with his wife in the critically acclaimed restaurant the “Birdie.” Yarvil Health Specialist (who prefers to remain anonymous) believes he suffered an aneurysm.

Witnesses say they saw him get out of the car, lock it and walk with his wife up the tarmac. The next thing they know is he is drowning in a puddle of blood and vomit. “Mary Fairbrother was quite taken aback by this situation and went into a frozen panic and would not leave his side,” say several men that were also dining in the restaurant that night.

As witnesses were dialing 999 on their cells, local retiree Dr. Travis who was also with his wife at the club tried to do anything he could to save the situation. But according to several medical studies made by Stedman’s Medical and King’s College Medical say there was nothing to be done once the seizures have started there is no way of stopping them.

The neighboring city of Yarvil sent an ambulance as soon as they received the call. Due to traffic and weather delays it took twenty five minutes to arrive. And but his time most witnesses say it was more a body being loaded in less a man.

Miles and Samantha Mollison stayed with Mary Fairbrother as they sped to Yarvil Memorial Hospital. Samantha Mollison describes the scene as follows, “They Just frantically stuck pins and needles into him (sob) anything to make it better.”

Sadly, the late Mr. Fairbrother was far too late to be saved. Sources say he died on the scene.

The untimely death of Mr. Fairbrother leaves a spot on the Parish Council. There is now what we call a “Casual Vacancy” this is achieved on the date of a Councilman’s death.

But, the community is striving to not let their standards slip. Howard Mollison explained the community’s goal in his speech to the community today, “We must strive to uphold the honor and tradition of the public eye here in Pagford.”

According to Gavin Hughes (President of the Village Directory) he’s established the Drug Recovery Center in the Village and has made the suburb community the “Fields” (on the Sweetlove Estate, Home to the Earl of Lockleet) a more presentable community and tried to help the less fortunate residents who live here carry on with their lives.

A ceremony will be held Next Monday to honor Mr. Fairbrother. Black is the suggested attire.
